"It's better not to know so much about what things mean or how they might be interpreted or you'll be too afraid to let things keep happening. Psychology destroys the mystery, this kind of magic quality. It can be reduced to certain neuroses or certain things, and since it is now named and defined, it's lost its mystery and the potential for a vast, infinite experience." -David Lynch

A little something I made last night for a class. Short and sweet.

Uploading files to the web fucking rocks my socks off! I need more webspace, though, so if anyone has any suggestions, please let me know. I'm new to this stuff. I'd like to upload videos that I've made in my video production classes but they're too big to fit on my current alottment of webspace (25 megs). I need more space, dammit!

Karaoke Revolution sounds amazing...

Seriously looking forward to a kick-ass weekend.

Laura, I love you babe and cannot wait for you to get out of the crapass hospital.
UPDATE: Laura is home! HOSPITALDISCHARGE2005WOOHOO!!!

On a much more downbeat note, Mitch Hedberg is now filed under "D" for "Deceased." Heart attack. Ugh...so unfortunate. He was 36. You will be missed, funnyman. May your new residence be filled with Koalas.

I once believed in a quote that read "let life live," but that's not enough. Live life as hard as you can. Squeeze all the life out of each moment you have and soak it back up. I don't think any of us actually realize that today could be our last day. If we did, I imagine we'd be much more productive...much happier. So let's get to it.

Watched The Ring again with Laura in preparation for Friday's main event. That damn movie still freaks me out. The shots in it are great...the score is creepy as hell...and the character development is excellent. Samara is one of the scariest characters ever conceived. The sequel is going to be awesome, and it's going to make the original (remake) even better; flesh it out; give it more depth. Dreamworks may have a saga with serious potential for longevity in their hands, comparable to a Freddy/Jason legacy. Let's hope.

I'm gonna eat your cookies now. Deal with it.

Oh - and happy St. Patrick's Day to everyone, especially Lovey. Get crunk...

Basement Jaxx kicks ass! This is some seriously upbeat dance music. Soul, disco, techno, and even some pop sensibility fuse together to create a very listenable, danceable experience. Just downloaded the new Singles album - looking forward to spinning it at a party sometime soon.

Speaking of which, there seems to be a rumor going around that some o-town kids might come up this weekend. Please let me know the validity of this rumor so that I can prepare the apartmentellones.

THIS is a link to one of the coolest videos I've seen in quite a while. The song's called "An Honest Mistake" and it's performed by The Bravery. Fans of Franz Ferdinand and The Killers will probably dig 'em... - they're not bad. Regardless, the video is sweet. Check it out, then meet me at the park for some Domino Rally.

The Reel Big Fish concert was freakin' great... - It's awesome to see that despite the many changes they've undergone in lineup, the band still sounds excellent. As long as Aaron and Scott stay in the band, I'll maintain my faith in RBF. New record in stores April 5th.

The Ring 2
friday night, bitches! "yOU lET tHE dEAD gET iN..."

Budweiser Select is pretty good...but I think I still prefer Lite. Less filling.

I'll listen to your mixes soon, melo. Downloaded your script, too - Laura and I are both stoked to read it.

Over and out.

The cops broke up the party. Pretty surreal... - very dumb but strangely exciting. Frank Costa might be the funniest man I know. I love you, Snugglebear.

Sea Dog is probably the worst shit you can drink from a bottle.

Here's to seeing old friends (Angela, Lauren, Raudebaugh, Dave, Jenn, etc.). Hope to see you all again in the near future.

Props to Brian for his exceptional kegstands. You're the greatest - even if you have emo hair.

Thanks to Juan for picking up the watch. See you later today, buddy. P.S. - You are the tallest friend that I have. I mean that. From the bottom of my broken heart. Taller, Venezuelan Will Smith.

I love you Laura...can't wait to see you tomorrow! "WAAAAIIIIIIT!" - funny stuff. You are the world to me.

love,
munkytoes
